Farm Cottage is a traditional workers cottage dating back to the 1800s. It is situated in the thick of it at the Estate Yard. From here you will be a stones throw from watching the very talented collies at work or collecting your own eggs from our free range hens.

Recently refurbished it sleeps 6 in its three bedrooms. It is a 10 minute stroll to our rocky shore or 30 minutes by car to the spectacular sandy beaches and dunes at Cannaebean and Balnakiel in Durness or Melness near Tongue .

Fishing in the hill lochs, salmon fishing (booking necessary) and deer stalking are all on offer with this cottage – please contact us for prices and availability. Appreciation of the nature of the area comes free as does local knowledge.

Wifi and Freeview are provided as is a payphone. Mobile phones are limited to mobiles operating on the O2 network as with most of the Estate.

We operate a no smoking policy in all our cottages. Pets are allowed but they must be kept well under supervision as this is a working estate.
