The name Eriboll is formed from two Norse words Eyrr - beach and Bol - Farm, giving us our title of "Home on a pebbly or Stoney Beach"

The Estate centers round its' farm on the eastern shores of Loch Eriboll the beaches of which are mainly formed from limestone which in the past was used for improving the lands and building. The green parklands are testimony to the limestone beneath and the use of lime for top dressing.

The stunning Ard Neakie houses original limekilns from this time as does Eilean Choraidh, our island in the center of the Loch.

The farm has one of the earliest registered
North Country Cheviot Flocks which thrive
on the extreme terrain found in the Highlands.

Eriboll is a paradise for those who
  enjoy sporting activities with Wild
  gamebird, salmon and trout fishing
and stalking for both Red Deer Stags
  and Hinds on challenging ground.
